For the past decade I've devoted my writing time to mystery novels, I've always had a fascination with such writing, and for a long time I wanted to use famed novelist Edna Ferber as an amateur sleuth, much in the tradition of Miss Marple. The first one, LONE STAR, published by Poisoned Pen Press, was well received. And so the series was established. Recently I've decided to explore the Vietnamese community of Hartford as a source for fiction. I created Rick Van Lam, an Amerasian, as my professional PI. The first in the series, CAUGHT DEAD, was published to great reviews. And so a second series begins. Maybe there will be a third.
